Kasey D. Johnson

Kasey Johnson was born April 22, 1993 in Norfolk, VA to Tonisha Johnson and the late Shawn Johnson.  Kasey later moved to Chesapeake where he met his lifelong friends. He attended Chesapeake Public Schools and Tidewater Community College. Kasey was employed with The City of Norfolk in the Storm Water Department. He was also certified as an HVAC Tech.

With help and guidance from his Uncle Gee, Justin Hairston and Coach Burn; Kasey participated in many sports as a youth. Kasey’s love for his family was unquestionable. He took most pride in becoming a wonderful father to his baby girl Kali.

Kasey was predeceased by his father Shawn Johnson and grandfather William Jones. He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Tonisha Johnson; his daughter, Kali Johnson-Booker; four sisters, Jessica, Tonisha, Tonajah and Dae’Jah; grandparents, Eunice Gibbs, Sheila Johnson (Foster Alexander) and Joshua Johnson; two special uncles, Gee and Rasheed; two nephews; one niece; close friend, Davon; a special friend Sacred Booker; and a host of other relatives and friends.

    We love you so much Kasey, I wish that we could have spent more time together. Seeing you every now and then was not enough, we always asked about your wear abouts, whenever we saw your dad.
