To Robert (Shortie) we call him and family. May God continue to Bless you and your family during your time of sorry. Our prayers will be with you always.
Love
Barbara (Sister) and family
Pat and family, I offer my deepest condolences to you on the passing of your beloved mother. Ms. Annie was a beautiful and Godly woman whose legacy is evident by the fruit she left us in you and your sister. I pray you’ll find comfort in the wonderful memories of your mom! With God’s love, Valerie
As cousins, we share ties like no one else – with many happy memories from childhood on into adulthood. Those memories include the many delicious meals Aunt “Dump” made for us during the holidays and in the summertime when we visited Deep Creek to enjoy go-kart riding, ice cream bars and even on occasion — swimming. Of course, there also was colorized TV – a real treat, especially when compared to no TV at all. I/we also enjoyed many times when our moms’ visited one another over the years in Charlestowne and Robert Hall Village.
Now, for friends and guest who might visit this page and wonder–How did Aunt Annie get to be called “Aunt Dump”? Well, I’m glad you asked. In my humble opinion the nickname “dump” was Uncle Ossia’s shorthand for—my sweet “dumpling”–his lovely and charming wife for 47 years. And boy could she make some delicious chicken and “dumplings.” Yes!
May God’s grace and mercy sustain you throughout this time of sorrow.
Love, Peace and Blessings – Forever
