J’Wanta Scarbor was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, cousin and friend. She owned a smile that could light up any room and make you smile at the same time. She was adored for her ability to love everyone she surrounded herself with. She spent most of her time loving on her three children and her family. If you were luckly enough to be present when J’Wanta gazed into her children beautiful faces, the pure joy radiating from her face would simply blind you. J’Wantas love extended miles outside of her family and friends. She had a deep rooted love for the elderly and disabled, she worked countless hours at Family Healthcare Solutions caring for her patients both night and day. J’Wanta was also very comedic and animated, she’d make you laugh at the oddest time’s finding humor in almost everything.
God blessed us all with J’Wanta Markela Scarbor-Brown on April 16, 1995 in Portsmouth, VA and called our love one J’Wanta Markela Scarbor-Brown home on Monday March 14, 2022 in Norfolk, VA. J’Wanta was born the Daughter of Jwion Brown and Tawanda Scarbor.
J’Wanta was a loving and compassionate person who love to be silly and had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. J’Wanta loved cookouts, Aunt Jeans food and family game night. J’Wanta loved to play games, crack jokes and sometimes have dance offs.
J’Wanta was the oldest of her six siblings and she took pride in being a great big sister To all of her siblings.
She was survived by her loving children Journey Bradshaw, Jream Bradshaw, Jahkur Scarbor, mother Tawanda Scarbor, father Jwion Brown. Siblings DeAndre Miller, Markie Scarbor, Chris Scarbor,Jalexis Brown, Jwion Brown Jr., DereOnta Scarbor. Grandmother Ann Brown and husband Bruce Corprew, Grandmother Linda Scarbor and husband Elvis Dorsey. Aunts Sonya Blunt, Regina Brown, Teanna Cuffee, LaKeisha Trent, Felecia Trent and Tina Scarbor. Uncles Levanstian Brown, David Scarbor, Shawn Thorne, Michael brown, Willie Brown, Robert Scarbor, Darrell Scarbor and Keith Scarbor. Cousins LaTunya Brown, Nya Scarbor, Tanrell Brown, Quanisha Trent, Shinique Brown, Cherrell Copeland, Detore Brown, Quasha Woodson, Devorian Brown, Antwan Warren, Sherry Warren, Willie Brown Jr., Brandy Brown and Kiara Brown. KaySean Brown, Kyree Zellner, Shakia Brown, Myesha Brown, Warren Burris, Alexis brown.(********missing names)

    II did not know Jwanta but I was sorry to hear of the passing of a family member. I am the neice of Uncle Clarence.
    Comfort to the Family
    Although it sometimes seems to us our prayers have not been heard, God always knows our every need without a single word.

    Condolences to everyone who knew and loved her. I only found out that this beautiful young lady was my cousin at the end of her life. Uncle Clarence was my great uncle on my father’s side. Prayers for all of us.🙏🏿
