March 23, 2022 at 7:20 pmTo the parents of Sierra: I don’t know you all and you all don’t know me, but I’m touching bases with you because I have walked in your shoes. My son was killed in 1991 at the hands of a very disturbed person that he thought was a friend to him. There are no words to describe the loss of a child. My son was 18 years old, had a very bright future, loved life, loved people, and the list goes on and on. The death of a child leaves a void in your heart, in your life, and in your world. Your daughter was pretty, smart, loved very much – the many wonderful things said about her are remarkable. I am so sorry about her passing. We know our children are in Heaven – rejoicing with God, the angels, and with others who passed on before them that they loved dearly. Our angels are resting in peace. Know that I will be thinking of you and your entire family in days and months to come.
Kathy Allen says
March 24, 2022 at 4:57 amSierra, your work is done. You can rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
I know you will continue to shine up there in Heavenly Paradise.
Sending sincere condolences to the family.

If words exist that could express how sorry we are for your loss, then I don’t know them. All I know to say is we are so very sorry. March 29, 2022 at 12:41 pmFrom my family to Sierra’s, our deepest condolences. There is nothing to be said that can reverse this senseless tragedy, however, it’s my hope that after seeing the abundant support from the community and the countless testimonials to her character the family can take stock in the fact that everyone saw how bright her light was. Maybe in some way that can help being to ease the pain.

I didn’t know her for very long but I’ll always appreciate her for the support words of encouragement she shared with me on a regular basis.
