Mr. Tommy Lee Barfield departed this life on August 5, 2020. He entered eternal rest at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Tommy Lee Barfield was born in Farmville, NC on December 9, 1951 to the late Eddie and Vera Barfield. He was predeceased by his wife Sheila Barfield, son Kintrel Barfield, and sister Peggy Barfield. He joined in holy matrimony with the love of his life Sheila Barfield; a marriage of 45 years. From this union, 3 sons Cedric, Terrence, and Kintrel. Tommy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He served in the Navy then became a supervisor at Old Dominion University for 12 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sons Cedric Lee Barfield (Tanya), Terrence Rico Barfield (DeShanna), two sisters Marva (Barbara) Barfield, San Bernardino, CA, Renee Everett, Virginia Beach, VA, two brothers Ray Barfield, Lexington, KY, Eddie Barfield, Chesapeake, VA, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
