Kelly Renee Vincent departed this earth and entered into eternal peace on March 19, 2022
Kelly graced the world with her arrival on April 1, 1978. She exhibited an exuberance and zest for life early in her childhood, including being a cheerleader for her neighborhood little league teams. She attended Greenbrier Christian Academy where she blossomed into a multi-talented young lady. She was Class President one year and Class Vice President another. She was voted Homecoming Queen and was Pep Club Vice President. She was also a participant in the Pep Band, the Yearbook Committee, Student Leadership Forum and had a perfect attendance for 3 years.
After graduating from Greenbrier Christian Academy, Kelly spent the next few years working various jobs, most with a focus on customer service. In August of 2004, Kelly began what became a stellar career at Cox Communications. She started out in the customer service/billing department but was quickly elevated to a trainer role within 2 years. This role afforded Kelly the opportunity to travel all over the country and even other parts of the world. She really enjoyed traveling and created some wonderful memories with her co-workers. Kelly worked at Cox for nearly 18 years and achieved the title of Professional Educator before she was no longer able to work.
Kelly was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charlie Vincent and Mae Alice Richards; and her brother, Kevin Vincent. She is survived by her father, Calvin Vincent; her mother, Velma Vincent; her maternal grandparents, Russell Sr and Daisy Lee; and a host of other relatives and friends who love and miss her very much.
