On March 18, 2022, Harry Johnson, Jr., accepted the Master’s Call from his earthly life to eternal life.
Harry, affectionately known as “Daddy” by his children, grandchildren and friends, was born in Cape Charles, Virginia to the late Louise Simmons and Harry Johnson, Sr.
He retired from the City of Norfolk after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elaine Willie Johnson, sister, Louise Smith, brother, Willis Johnson and grandson, Kahlil Johnson.
Harry leaves to cherish his memory: eight children, George Johnson (Toni), Harry Johnson, III (Wanda), Shirley Russell (William), James Johnson (Audrey), Hattie Skinner, Elaine Johnson, Robert Johnson and Charles Johnson; 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
