On April 25, 2024, surrounded by her family, Cathy Roberts went home to be with the good Lord, peacefully, at her home. Cathy was a native of Norfolk, VA. She was loved by many and was known to many as the neighborhood mom. Cathy was a joy to be around, she loved to dance and cook. Cathy loved kids and previously worked as a nurse’s assistant at Sewells Point Elementary School and Suburban Park Elementary School in Norfolk, VA. She also worked as a teacher’s aide at Building Blocks Preschool, and Bountiful Blessings Preschool.
Cathy Roberts is reunited in heaven with her mother, Alice Brooks, sisters: Gloria Stanton, Mable Wilson, and Cheryl Brown. She is survived by her four children: Carla Roberts, Carlton Roberts, Allyson Roberts, and Alvin Roberts all from Norfolk VA; her loving granddaughter who she called her sweetness Madison Donald and two brothers Alan Brock (Phylis) of Norfolk VA, Terry Brock (Joycelyn ) of Douglasville Georgia, and a host of nieces and nephews and friends who were like family to her; she will be truly missed.
