May 1, 2024 at 12:23 pmVery sorry for the loss of your mother, she was a very nice lady, very pleasant, . Sending prayers for all the family. I have lived next door since 2003. She would always stop when I seen her and she would say hi.
Heaven has gained another angel. Take comfort knowing she is at peace. God bless all.

May 3, 2024 at 2:15 pmAngela, Brian, Steven, I’ve known Yvonne for for over fifty years, I met her when we worked at Norfolk Public Health Department on Colley Avenue. What I noticed about her was her spirit, you don’t meet people like her everyday. She was a pure soul, kind and with a warm countenance. I’m so sorry that’s she passed. But also happy that she is no longer in any pain or suffering. Be comforted this. GOD has been with her all of her life, when she started and when she stopped. And still with her now in Spirit. She has left this physical world but her spirit will always be with you.🙏🙏. I’ve you all

May 2, 2024 at 10:46 amSister Trotman was solid, steadfast, immovable, and unshakeable in her faith. She was straightforward and pulled no punches and because of her wise and discerning spirit, was never timid about sharing her opinion, speaking up, or asking questions. I took delight in just being in her presence and she was such an asset to the Body of Christ. She enjoyed an incredible relationship with her children and grands and having lost my mom when I was 16, she had the close connection/friendship/sisterhood with her daughter of which I could only dream–it was truly a sight to behold. Sister Yvonne was greatly loved and will be sorely missed. Heaven has gained a warrior angel. May God continue to bless and watch over her family as they gather to comfort one another, celebrate her life, and recall fond memories and wise teachings. I love you!

May 3, 2024 at 3:27 pmWhen peace like a river attended my way
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul!
Angela, I am praying that God will grant you strength as you mourn the death of your beloved mother. I so enjoyed singing praises with her when we were in the choir together. While she had a quiet demeanor, she oftentimes spoke her mind/heart, something I admired and loved about her. Continue to keep the faith and continue looking to the hills from which comes your help, knowing it comes from the Lord.
