God has plucked one of the most beautiful flowers from this earth and placed in his garden. My mom was a woman of small stature, but had the heart of a giant. Every day that I awaken now knowing that I won’t see her infectious smile anymore will hurt so bad. I do know this to be absent in the body is to be present with The Lord. Rest in peace momma, love your baby girl Pookie.

Hey my sister. The way your mother raised you saved my life. I heard so many stories of how she opened her doors to anyone.
You invited me in your home when I had no where to go. It was 20 below zero close to 20yrs ago. I will never forget it. That one act of love gave me hope. I didn’t know your mom but I’m glad she taught you how to treat people. I was honored to sing at her celebration of life.
