Stella Louise Isaac

On Friday morning June 11, 2021, our dearly beloved Stella L. Isaac, slipped away peacefully at her home. She was born in Norfolk, Va, a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Langston.

Stella (a.k.a. “Biddie”) was born and raised in Bolling Brook and was a member of First Baptist Church, Bolling Brook.  She worked various jobs including as a Private Duty Nurse, and cafeteria worker. Her main responsibility was raising 4 energetic boys and one niece.  She would often be seen enjoying a good book, listening to R&B music or watching a TV show.

Biddie was a Sci-Fi buff, loved Buck Rodgers, Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica.  She also loved her Soap Operas General Hospital and One life to live.  She also loved playing card games and was an avid Bingo player.

She was always there for her niece and a sounding board whenever she needed somebody to talk to.  She was always willing to feed her, her favorite unhealthy foods and drinks.  “I Love you back” was always her response.

Left to cherish her memory, sons Mr. Sean Patterson (Destiny), Mr. Donald Patterson (Carshena), Mr. Daryle Patterson (Lisa), Mr. Anthony Isaac, Sister, Mrs. Pearl Kelly, Niece, Ms. Talithia Kelly.  She also had 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

    To the Patterson and Isaac family,
    May God keep and comfort your family during this difficult time. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. My prayer is that the Lord will be with everyday, every minute, every second that you need him to be there, and HE WILL! Bless the family!
