To the Family of Rosalyn Pickering
I was sorry to hear of the passing of Pickering. I was a co-worker of hers at St. Brides Correctional Center for a number of years. I found her to be a friend, kind, compassionate, humorous, joyous and faithful. I will miss her. Our lives are so uncertain, unsure, and not understandable, and God alone knows the pattern of our days. It is difficult to realize that she is no longer here with us, and yet she is so close to us in spirit, having only gone beyond the sound of our voices and the touch of our hands. Death is always a sobering experience, but in the hands, of God, it too becomes a time for rejoicing.
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth thou this? ” St. John 11:25-26

To the family. We are so sorry for your loss. The death of a love one can be extremely difficult to cope with. Many have found comfort in the promise found there at Acts 24:15. There it speaks about the Resurrection. Do draw comfort in the promise found there and please know you and your family will be in our prayers…MaryAnn

To the family, I am so sorry. I used to work with her at St. Brides and we always had the best time together. I loved being around her everyday and listening to her stories and laughing. We always kept in touch to keep each other updated about life. We last spoke a few months ago about how life was going. I had this feeling today I needed to reach out, but sadly I found out today she was gone. My heart truly broke and I was in tears. If I had known in time about her passing, I would have been at her service no doubt. I hope you guys can find comfort that she is in heaven at peace. She will truly be missed!
