Rapheal Sumner

On August 20, 2023, God called our son, brother, uncle, cousin and best friend Rapheal Sherrod Sumner home. Rapheal was born September 3, 1991 to Calvetta Sumner and Reginal Hill, both who are residents of Norfolk Virginia. Rapheal was a graduate from Norview High School. He was a current employee of Virginia Paving Co. In Norfolk where he took great pride in doing his job. He also was a Spark driver for Walmart, after work he would have his sons which he was an excellent ‘Dad’ If anybody know Rapheal he was definitely a family man. He’s going to be greatly missed. We Love You Rapheal, Always and Forever! Rapheal was predeceased by his father Reginal Hill and brother John Sumner. He is survived by his mother and step father Calvetta and Bruce Gilliam and his 2nd mother Minnie Harrell, brother Johnathan Sumner, his two daughters Kayla and Miyoina Jones, three sons, his twins Daviyon Sherrod Sumner and Jvyon Malik Sumner and his youngest son Dereion Rashard Sumner, and his unborn daughter Ah’Journee Marie Sumner, sister Miracle Hill and nieces and two nephews. Rapheal Sherrod Sumner will be truly missed by tons of family and friends.
