Marvin Lee Howard, Sr.

Marvin Le Howard, Sr. left his earthly home on March 24, 2022 surrounded by the love of his family. Marvin is the son of the late Fannie Mae Barnes Howard and Luther Howard.

Marvin’s childhood began at St. Mark Clair area of Chesapeake, VA. He was educated in Chesapeake, VA Public School System at Western Branch High School. Marvin worked over 10 years serving the Army National Guard.

Marvin was a champion football running back player for Western Branch High School. He was full of spirit and love whether on the field, basketball court and the dance floor. Marvin was always the life of the Party. His support had no limits. He was always our biggest, Marvin lived a life of service. He was the perfect example of God’s Grace. He was a humble man with a big soul and a heart and always had a helping hand. Family meant a lot to him. Marvin was loved by all who crossed his path.

Marvin leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Marvin Lee Howard, Jr. (LaQuesha); daughter, Shanell M. Howard; eight grandchildren, Kiyian Williams, Antonio Drewery, Jr., Anthony Howard, Ny’Asia Howrd, Brianna Howard, Keturah Wiliams, Makalia Howard and Davanir Scott; four sisters, Lavene Howard, Katy Pope, Brenda Howard, Angie Barlow (Charles); two brothers, Kent Howard and Alexander Howard (Theresa). Marvin also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. 

Marvin will truly be missed by all.
