Kenneth Lee Sutton, 72, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away on August 5, 2023. Kenneth was a native of Edenton, North Carolina and studied at Elizabeth City State University, before moving to Norfolk, Virginia in the 1970s. Kenneth, or “Kenny,” which everyone affectionately called him, worked as a delivery driver for Aramark for 18 years. He started his own janitorial and carpet cleaning business in 1991. Kenny was predeceased by his parents, William Henry Sutton, Sr. and Rosa B. Sutton; and brothers: William Henry Sutton, Jr., Ronald Sutton, and Theodore Sutton. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 44 years, Marion L. Sutton; daughter, Marjorie N. Holloway; grandson, Nicholas M. Holloway; brothers: Joseph Sutton of Roper, NC, Marvin Sutton (Mary) of Fayetteville, NC, Ralph Sutton of Lancaster, CA, Donnell Sutton of Largo, FL, David Sutton, Archie Sutton and Phillip Sutton, all of Edenton, NC; sisters: Anita Hickey (James) of Oceanside, CA, Rosa Holley (Robert Lee) of Plymouth, NC, and Denise Baker (Joe) of Plymouth, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
