To the family of Hamp, he was a very nice person always with a smile and always ways very polite and full of mannerism. The first time I meet him was 35 yrs ago,he was attending NSU. Every time I saw Hamp he referred to me as mom, gave me a big smile, hug and told me what he had for sell. He always showed lots of love. God saw Hamp heart and saw he was tired so he decided to call him home. He has received his wings from God Almighty.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. We have been friends for so long it’s hard to describe. We were on the same PAL team for 3 straight years we coach Tripoli. You made sure that I met Chris when he moved from Philly to the Boro. We were at the same table prom night. Hung out together graduation night. Shared our first room at 615 Marshall Ave. in Norfolk. So many memories and stories with not enough time to tell. Rest easy my brother! My heart hurts right now, but you are at peace. Much love Hamp! Heaven has a new smooth dancing, shirt selling, kool Aid drinking, thought provoking Angel. Until later old friend.

My heart is so broken right now. Hampton was a dear friend and fellow entrepreneur, who always had an encouraging word and a ready smile. Though I live in NYC we spoke often, and it makes me terribly sad that I didn’t get to say “see you later”. Please accept my humble condolences & my prayers for his family and all who loved him. He will live on thru his son, who he always spoke of with the utmost love & pride. Love you Hampton. Rest well, dear brother ❤️
