Celebration of Life
“Well done thy good and faithful servant”
On Monday, June 8, 2020, our beloved mother, auntie, sister and friend, Gwendolyn Sylvia Clark was called from labor to reward. She was born the late Odell and Zaph Jones. She received her education through Norfolk Public Schools going on to graduate from Booker T. Washington High School. She later went on to earn her associate degree in Business Management from Keys Business College.
Our beloved mother was and still remains a light to so many. She was always there to lend a helping hand, pray for and encourage others but most of all to tell of the goodness of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. she was a member of Calvary Revival Church, Norfolk, VA before later joining House of Judah Norfolk, VA where she gracefully served as church mother. One thing is for sure she didn’t mind giving God all the praise. Although, this recent year was not easy, she always mustard up the strength to say “It is Well”, “God is still good and the devil is still stupid” but most of all “to
God be the glory, I’m okay either way”.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters; Robinette “Quisa” Edmonds, Sarena “Rena” Jones, Angela Clark and sons, Milton “Junnie” Clark and Jermaine “Manky” Clark. She also leaves grandchildren, Bryonna, Brandi, Damion, Darion, Myles, A’Korey and Diamon, great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Precious, Rachel, Genesis, D’anna, Laya and N’voni, her siblings, Steven Jones, Dorothy England, Darryl Jones (Tracy) Kenneth Jones (Shirley) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, adopted children, church family and friends. Let’s not forget her faithful four-legged son “Charlie”. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell & Zaph Jones and grandson, Yasaan Clark.
“Well done Gods servant, Well done”
