Joan, my heart aches for you, but I know you walks with God and He will take care of you.
When I met your son maybe two years ago, I was trying to comfort him, but he wanted to know if I needed anything, sit down, Momma is home resting.
All I can say is that Booga, and I pray I spelled his nickname right, was raised exactly the way your father raised y’all…. a good name goes a long way. Prayers and condolences to the family.
    Rest In Peace Bro. Branch

To my Friend of 50 years, George “Booker” Branch, but many called him Booga.
Many years of playing, eating, getting in trouble together and fighting like many good friends do. When Mrs Joan & Mr George moved from Langley Circle, Booga continued to come and visit my parents “Mr & Mrs Cuffee”.
When my father died who was there willing to help Booga, and when he lost his father we was there for him. We talk every month, I remember him being so excited about his sons, birth, graduation, playing football and when his grand daughter was born – the love of his life.
From the building of his home, to the massage chair in his room that his mom loves. I never got my ride on the boat, nor my fish. His last cruise 2023, he said was so fun, he was looking to go again 2024 and wante me and my sisters to go. I could go on and on.
Mrs. Joan, I am praying for you strenght during this time. I remember when Mr George died and you said this is hard, but Booga will take care of me, and he responded “Yep, be here everyday, wish she would go back with me to North Carolina”.
Booga death is a big shocker to my family, I know GOD is in control and make no mistakes. We All will miss him dearly, but the Cuffee Family, Sinese, Marchett and Bunny will definitely miss him. My Love to Joan Branch and Family

Dear Joan, Take God’s Hand! –It’s hard to understand and even harder to say “Thy Will Be Done” after sorrow and sadness fill our hearts. He will help us to understand. Words will not wipe away all the tears, but find strength in His Love and comfort in the thoughts and prayers of those who love you.
I pray for your strength that Only God can give. Listen to the Angels as they whisper that your son, George, is now in God’s Loving Arms.

Never thought this day would come so soon.
I called you Papi even though we were close in age because you were just that type of person. A leader and friend. We worked together overseas and I never will forget the laughter and your smart mouth. May you soul rest for what is to come. God accepted your spirit back to home.
What satan meant to hurt will be for Gods will and good.
Going to miss u…see you in the ever-after my Brother💜🙏🏾

I pray God’s comfort and Grace over you All.
    Death is not final.
The grave never wins, it is temporary.
Continue to grieve at your own pace and time…one day it won’t hurt so badly.
One day you’ll cry happy tears as you remember George.
But until then let the Angels wrap their wings around you in comfort and peace/quiet for your hearts. 💜🙏🏾

To my loving friend, this was a shock beyond no other. I remember when we use to hang out in Cavalier Manor on Lakeview Dr., as well as Ms. Flossy house in Parkview. I will truly miss your smile and dimples. My mom would always tell me when you can into town and you would stop by and see how she was doing and checking on me if I wasn’t living in VA. Ms. Joan, we know God makes no mistakes and he will see you through this hard and difficult time. To the rest of the family, stay strong! Love forever and always.
