Blanche Hines

Mrs. Blanche P. Hines age 92 departed life on March 1, 2020 on Sunday. She was the 4th child born on November 27, 1927 in Nansemond County, Virginia to George Mabry, Sr. and Mary Mabry. She graduated from I.C. Norcom High School. Blanche was married to Jessie T. Hines for 35 years. Blanche retired after working for Chesapeake Public Schools as a Custodian for over 20 years. She was a dedicated member of New Hope Baptist Church Choir, Busy Bee’s and Missionary Ministry until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Blanche was a devoted and loving mother. She leaves to cherish her memories; eight children, Errol Hines (Okyon) of San Antonio, Texas, Beverly Wilson (Truman, now deceased) of Maryland, Mary Columbus (John) of Portsmouth, VA, Barbara Pinner (Sandy) of Charleston, South Carolina, Frenchie Hines (Caregiver) of Chesapeake, VA, Jessie T. Hines, Jr. of Roanoke, VA and Dwight Hines of Chesapeake, VA; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; two nieces, Ella Sue of Portsmouth of VA and Kira Mabry of New York. Rest well my faithful servant
