Willie Raymond Simms (Ice Man) Was born April 4, 1944 in Nansemond County also known as Suffolk VA to the late Wilbert and Otelia Simms. He departed his Earthly Home on October 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by Family.
Willie Raymond Simms (Ice Man) was proceeded in death by his three brothers Ernest Simms, James Thomas Simms and Wilbert Purnell Simms.
Willie was known to many as (Pudding) and others as (Ice Man). Willie was a dedicated, hard working family man who took no mess. He worked for bowing Trucking Company and Royster Fertilizer for over twenty plus years, Willie decided to retire to spend more time with family. He enjoyed watching his granddaughter sing and dance in the middle of the living room and providing a better life for her.
He leaves to cherish many loving and wonderful memories: to his wife of thirty five years and was the love of his life Marie Futrell Simms. They was blessed with a union of two daughters Jessica Marie Stephens of Portsmouth VA and Rhonda Lee Simms of the home and also one son Milan Lamont Whitehurst of San Antonio Texas. One granddaughter his heart Serenity Stephens. He also leaves one Brother Ivan Lee Simms (Cynthia) of Suffolk VA. He also leaves with wonderful memories Host relatives and friends.
