I am saddened to hear of “Rev Willie’s” passing. He was always such a kind, funny, and gracious man. He was so always welcoming to us ( your classmates) when we bombarded your home to work on our many class reunions and kept us in stiches. God does not make mistakes and He knew Willie had completed His (his) work here on earth. God bless you and your family and may Willie’s memories be a blessing to all of you.

The Northern and McNair family will forever be linked because we all grew up in the same neighborhood, on the same street (Quail Av.) and on the same block. We have lost a good man, and you have lost a husband, father and brother. This is a loss for all of us and we send our deepest condolences and prayers to entire family.

To Joyce and members of the McNair family.
Like many in our congregation, I was saddened to hear about Bishop McNair’s passing. Considering I’ve known him since my teenage years at Garrett Community Church, I told my friends he was the last male role model figure I had (because my father, stepfather and uncles have all passed away). I will solely miss him.
May God’s light continue to shine on you and your loved ones during and after your time of grief and mourning.
