Willie Mae Pope, 75, of Portsmouth, VA, passed peacefully May 24, 2019 in the comfort of her daughter’s home. She was born in Murfreesboro, NC to the late Wiley and Victoria B. Pope. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving daughter, Demetrice (Dee) Wright, son-in-law Celester Wright, two grandchildren Celester (CJ) Wright, Jr., and Christopher Wright, a host of other relatives and friends.
