Willie Lee Marrow, Jr. was born in Portsmouth, VA on July 30, 1968 to the late Willie Lee Marrow, Sr. and the late Mildred Alston Marrow. He departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2024 at his home.

Willie was educated in the Portsmouth City Public Schools and a graduate of Wilson High School. After his formal educational training, he joined the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, he returned to Portsmouth and was employed at Virgas Pizza Crust.   Willie also had the opportunity to be employed by his father-in-law at Monroe Dudley General Contracting.

Willie had a gift of being resourceful and handy.  He was knowledgeable to fix things and would give advice when needed. This led him to start a business called Willie’s Handyman Service.

Willie had a caring heart which was evident during the time he spent driving an elderly neighbor to get groceries, to doctor appointments, and to church.  He enjoyed spending time with life-long friends just hanging out.
