It is in our time of deepest sorrow that we must find a place of refuge. Knowing that the passing of a loved one is God’s way of inviting us to celebrate a life well-lived provides this safe place. “Cousin Bill”, as we so affectionately referred to him, was a beacon of light on a turbulent and dark sea. He worked tirelessly to guide lost souls to a spiritual shore. His wisdom, his faith, and his loyalty to family will always be remembered. My family would like to send a final “thank you” to the heavens. Thank you for the weekly calls. Thank you for your infinite love. Thank you for being our “Cousin Bill”. Until we meet again…

To the Goodman and Bagby family, please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your loved one.

Elouise, we know the love that you shared with your brother (and friend) over these many years. As it is written, “Memories are one place we can visit those we’ve lost. Since memories are portable, we can take our lost loved ones with us anywhere at anytime.” Life isn’t always easy or simple. Thank goodness for friends who can laugh and cry with you. You have been that friend for us, and we will be that friend for you…especially during this time of sorrow.

    With much love,

    Hub, Vicki & Chris

I am praying for the family,s strength during this time of celebration, Yes, celebration because to be absence from the body is to be present with the Lord, I know in time God will fill the void that’s in hearts and especially of the family, I will always remember the hearty hand shake that he had and i had to learn to grab his wrist before I let Deacon Williams grab my hand, I will forever cherish the memories of our families when we were young at NFBCT. God will wipe away all our tears and Joy will come in the morning.
