William Darrell Burch

On Monday, September 25, 2023 the Heavenly Gates opened to welcome our precious son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, William Darrell Burch, affectionately known as “Burch”.

William was born in Norfolk, Virginia on Thursday, June 5, 1969 to William N. Burch and Eunice E. Burch.

William was educated in Norfolk Public Schools. He was a member of the 1988 graduating class of Matthew Fontaine Maury High School. He furthered his education at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Business. After graduating, he became an entrepreneur for 30 years.

He accepted Christ at a young age and was a dedicated member of the church. William was a faithful member of New Central Baptist Church until his health began to decline.

William worked tirelessly in the community. Sovereign William Burch 33rd Degree Mason was the National Treasurer for Joshua National Supreme Council.

Many beautiful, unforgettable, precious and priceless memories will always be cherished by his devoted wife of 19 years, Regina Burch; three children, Travis (Amanda), Angel Wilson and Jayden Burch; three grandchildren; sister, Felicia Burch; his caring parents; a lifelong friend, Dr. Robert Perkins; a bountiful host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godson, and beloved friends. A special recognition to William’s Mason Family as well. William touched each of our lives and he will remain in our hearts forever.
