Sunset: December 13, 2021

Wheeler L. Wynn Sr., was born in the City of Norfolk to the late William E. and Katie Wynn on April 10, 1956. He attended Norfolk Public Schools and a graduate of NSU. Wheeler was called home from abor to reward on December 13, 2021 in Norfolk. He was preceded in death by his mother Katie Wynn, father William Wynn Sr., and sister Sylvia J. Wynn-Price. Wheeler was a lifetime member of The United House of Prayer for All People from birth until his death. He worked in the church cafeteria for many years as the manager serving delicious home cook meals to the public. Wheeler also had his own business HavKatFlo’s where he sold hot chicken wings, fried fish and french fries along with his snowballs, and sodas. If there was an event occurring in Norfolk Wheeler was there selling. A dollar didn’t stand a chance with Wheeler. He was well known throughout Norfolk advocating for the youth and adults that took a wrong turn in life to help get them back on track so society would give them a second chance. Wheeler never met a stranger but friends for life. He retired from RGIS from many years of service. His known saving was “Give God Everything” and that’s what he did until his death. Wheeler leaves to cherish a son, Wheeler L. Wynn Jr., three sisters, Juanita Richardson, Melvenia Wimberley (Robert), Dianne Hankerson and four brothers, Apostle William Wynn Jr., (Frances), Apostle Jeremiah Wynn (Nolie), Roosevelt Wynn (Gibby), and Norman Wynn (Dorna) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
