Boe Spain entered into God’s house on Saturday, October 9, 2021. He was 67 when he departed this life. He was a native of Norfolk, VA. His last employment was with The City of Virginia Beach in The Refresh Department. He also worked a few years with the City of Norfolk in Trash and Recycling. Boe was a loving, wild and caring man, who would make things happen by any means necessary. Boe would bring light to any room, he entered with his smile, attire and his dimples. He loved to party and clean his car!!!!!!!! Boe had a youthful, joking spirit, who loved his family, friends and OMG WOMEN. Boe was not perfect, but everything to many people. He was the go to man, a patriarch of his family. Lord knows Boe Spain will be missed!!!! His words, “Live Your Life, Shitttttt We All Have To Go” He definitely lived his life.
Boe is predeceased by his mother, Lena Mae Spain, Norfolk, VA; father, Walter Spain, Sr., Philadelphia, PA; sister, Lenora Spain, Philadelphia, PA; one grandson and one great granddaughter. He leaves to carry on his memory, three daughters, Shawn Somerville, Quenella Somerville, “AKA Bang”, Tyeicia Bateman; three sons, Anthony “Dack” Somerville, Walter “Walt” Spain, III and Erik Walter Spain; eight granddaughters; three grandsons; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Marcellus Spain, Philadelphia, PA, and Marvin Barnes, Norfolk, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He loved them all.

October 19, 2021 at 12:03 amFirst I wanna thank God for giving me such a wonderful true friend and you knew how much I’d needed one and you knew just who to send. He was always there with willing helping hands, a shoulder I/you can lean upon and a heart that I cherished and understands. What a good and generous man you was, losing my love was devastating and know words can ever really relieve that pain and no one can fill the hole created by your loss, that Friday I left Virginia to move to San Antonio TX, I received a call that you grew your wings and left to go be with your loved ones in heaven, but until I see your beautiful smile again and them lovely dimples that always made me smile, love you always and forever and you will truly be missed my love. Love always Kendra
