God Blessed us with Sgt Floyd’s presence. He was special to everyone who worked with him. I’m sure we all have a story or two we could tell. His legacy at NSO will live longer than most of us who worked with him. Prayers for everyone who has been affected by the loss of our friend, Supervisor and mentor. May God continue to Bless us ALL!

During my time I spent with 5-4 there is not enough words that could ever be enough to give him such honorable respect that he deserves ,that he has given to everyone else. 5-4’s key words He always said that has and will be an in- printed in my mind are “don’t worry about it”. From this day I live by those words. Fly high 5-4 ..

Master Deputy S. Chinnery, (RetIred),NSO says

Sergeant Floyd, also known as “54”, was a man of honor and integrity.
He was compassionate and fair with everyone he interacted with.

In addition, he was a mentor to all of his deputies, as well as an “outstanding” supervisor.

His persona was both “powerful” and “genuine.”

Sergeant Floyd’s presence among us will be missed; but his good deeds will be remembered and appreciated ALWAYS!!

    Respectfully,
    Master Deputy Chinnery, (Retired) NSO

The best memory I have of Sgt Floyd was his happy-go-lucky attitude. He would always stop by the office and make us laugh. He loved life, work, his family, friends, etc. To him life was good. He was missed when he retired and now he will forever remain on our hearts.
