Vincent Edward Jones known to many as “Doug” was born, July 24, 1964, in Norfolk, VA to the late Aaron and Mary Jones.
He was predeceased by his sister, Angela Jones. He received his formal education in the Virginia School System where he
attended Granby High School. After graduating High School, Doug worked for the City of Norfolk for almost 30 years. He loved cutting grass and doing whatever he could do for anyone always smiling regardless of how he felt. He was a great neighbor and friend to those who knew him and will truly be missed.
He is survived by brothers; Maurice, Aaron Jr., and Anthony Jones of Norfolk, VA. A very special friend, Madie Veasley, with whom he resided and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
