On November 15, 2024, our beloved father, son, and brother slipped away to rest with his heavenly father.
Vidal S. Turner was born on July 26, 1972, to Beverly Turner and Delbert Elliott Sr. in Portsmouth, Virginia. Vidal was raised in Portsmouth, VA, where he also attended Portsmouth Public Schools. Vidal was a devoted employee for almost 30 years at NOVO, formally known as Empire Molding Co., where he developed everlasting bonds with coworkers. Vidal was a loving brother and a devoted son who loved his “momma.” Vidal enjoyed fishing and traveling, especially traveling with his brother DJ. Vidal was also a diehard Chicago Bears fan. Vidal, affectionately known as ‘Flip,’ was the fun uncle to his nieces and nephews. He brought joy and laughter to every room he entered.
Vidal is predeceased by his brother Clifton ‘Mann’ Turner and nephew Ed Bookie Man’ Brown. Vidal leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Ty’Kiera Turner, Alexis Turner, and Kymberlee Harden, his beloved mother, Beverly Turner-Ellis, his father, Delbert Elliott Sr. (Wanda), his siblings Felicia Brown (Kevin), Charnetta Turner (Rocco), Carla Turner (Brian) Delbert Elliott Jr. (Cynita), Natalie Elliott-Dent, Tierra Elliott, Sierra Elliott, Alina Valentin. In addition, Vidal also leaves to cherish his memory a special aunt, Marian Daughtry, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
To know Vidal was to Love Him.

November 23, 2024 at 3:38 pmMy condolences to the family, but I loved this guy. I feel so sad that my husband is gone. We may have been separated, but I never stop loving him. I just can’t believe this is true. I would have never thought I would loss another husband in death. I will never forget the time we spent together before and after marriage. We was inseparable when we were together. Rest in peace my husband Vidal, I hope to see you in paradise. Love you always!!
