Veronica Burnham was Born November 30, 1959, in Norfolk, VA to Pecoila and Horace Turner. On September 1, 2024. The Lord called his angel home, and her heavenly mansion was prepared. Veronica graduated from Lake Taylor High School. Veronica was married to Maurice Ford for 13 years,

Veronica was known for her humor, caring heart, and strong will. Her favorite pastime was cussing people out, cooking, her grandchildren, and enjoying life. She would give the little she had to help others. 

Her occupants were nursing, bus driving, and security a true jack of trades.

Veronica is preceded by Pecoila Turner (Mother), Horace Turner (Father), Pricilla Burnham (Sister), Jimmy Burnham (Brother), Phillip Burnham (Brother), and Rudolph Coles, Jr. (Brother).

Veronica is survived by Maurice Ford (Husband), Shamon Burnham (Son), Tiffany White (Daughter)/Detriel White 

Veronica was a devoted mother and grandmother always putting her family first. She is survived by her Grandchildren: Daja Burnham, Dajon Burnham, Amari Woods, Dajour Burnham, Deyaja White, Shamon Burnham Jr, and Dream White, who will forever miss her love. 

Juanita Huffine (Aunt), Irias Burnham (Uncle).

Siblings: Anthony Burnham/Teressa, Horace Turner III/Hattie, Tracey Samson/Malik, Tammy Askew/Marcell, Carla Evans/Marvin, Jackie Sills, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Veronica’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Though she may be gone, the love and joy she brought into the world will never be forgotten. Her light will continue to shine in the lives of her family and friends.
