Vanessa Burrus Robertson also known as “Van” 60, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday June 19,2019 in Norfolk,VA. Vanessa was born November 14,1958 in
Norfolk, VA to the late Mildred and Booker T. Burrus Sr. Van graduated from Norview High School class of 1976. She was employed by J.C. Penny, Sorrentino Mariano & Company, Commercial Radio Media and her all time favorite Subway for over ten years. Vanessa or Van, a loving and caring women had a heart of pure gold. She was definitely the life of the party and everyone knew it was going to be a night to remember when she arrived. Rising to any occasion to assist those in need! She cherished the moments she shared with her family and friends.

Vanessa was preceded in death by her parents and her only son Brandon Burrus; two sister Barbara and Phyllis Burrus and her brother Booker T. Burrus Jr. Vanessa leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving and devoted Husband, Chester Leon Robertson of Norfolk, VA; her wonderful daughter, Jessica Neville of Norfolk,VA; her sister, Tonya Ayers (Sammy) of Norfolk, VA; three loving granddaughters, Zhane’ and
Brandy Bagley of Norfolk, VA and Denijah Burrus of Greenville, NC; two nieces, Monica and Eshae; Four nephews, Warren, Shante, Dominic and Brittany and a
host of Great Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
