Ms. Valerie Denise Hall was born on August 18th, 1957 in Manhattan, New York to the late Ella Louise Johnson, and Horace Quinton Johnson and was called home on July 22, 2020. She was a singer, model, and performer in her former years, and later worked in hospitality until she retired in 2012. She loved the beach and fishing from sunrise to sunset, and loved knitting and crocheting scarves, hats, and jewelry. She loved her family and it was displayed in everything she did. Valerie was predeceased by her mother Ella Louise Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Kristy Diana Jones; grandchildren, Christopher E. Bell-Robinson and Kiana Monet Robinson; father Horace Quinton Johnson; aunt Audrey Banks; four brothers, Robert White (Charlene), Dennis Johnson, Cassius Johnson (Karen), and Timothy Johnson (Robin); four sisters, Delores Tyler (Anthony), Sandra Billups (Shelton), Shirley McCloud, and Barbara Wilkerson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
