I was so very saddened to hear of Trevon’s passing. I had the pleasure of teaching Trevon when he was a 5th grader at Ghent School in Norfolk.

Trevon was that student that you NEVER forget. I remember at the beginning of that school-year, I saw Trevon standing up talking and I said, “Boy, if you don’t sit down and be quiet, I’m coming over there.” Trevon looked up and to my amazement said, “Come on!” I knew from that point on it would never be a dull moment that year. That is truly one of my favorite stories to tell.

I offer my deepest condolences to all of Trevon’s family and friends. Although the separation is difficult, take comfort in knowing that this is NOT the end.

    Rest in peace, Trevon.

    Sincerely
    Mr. Jones
