On Sunday May 1st, 2022 Tony Cherry was called home to be with the Lord.
He was born on March 10, 1982 to Oliva Cherry and Charles Turner in Norfolk, VA. Tony loved the outdoors. He enjoyed playing sports and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He worked at A- Mayes Soul Food Restaurant. Tony enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with his children. He was loved by many and like by all. Tony always had something funny to say and he was always bragging about all his loving kids. Tony was the life of the party and he had enough kids to have his own party. He could put a smile on your face at any given time.
Tony is predeceased by his grandmother Lana Hodges; two sisters: Richetta Cherry and Nicole Cherry; and his brother Randy Cherry.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his mother Olivia Cherry; father Charles Turner, two sisters: Denise Cherry and Marie Parker; four brothers: Chuck Cherry, Artelius Sydnor, Ricky Sydnor, and Andre Turner. He also leaves behind his loving children: Tony Cherry – Dawson, Naesaun Cherry, Ja’Qurion Cherry, Ta’Liyah Edwards, Chance Cherry, Me’Slah Edwards, Ja’Syah Edwards, Emmanuel Cherry, Zion Cherry; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and associates.
