Tione T. Harris

Sunrise: November 24, 1979

Sunset: February 21, 2020

On February 21, 2020 our Beloved Tione T. Harris, 40 unexpectedly left the earthly realm to ascend into our Lord’s loving arms. Tione leaves to cherish his memories mother, Elaine Harris Whitney; two sisters, Shawonna Harris and Majorie Taitano; three brothers, Shawn Taitano, Devin Taitano and Charles Scott. Tione leaves to forever remember and cherish their time together ~ six heartbeats on earth ~ five beautiful daughters, Tiona Richardson, Yolanda Richardson, Tiyonnie Turner, Kaleya Banks and Thalia Harris and one handsome and loving son, Adon Banks.

Tione also leaves to mourn his death and forever hold his heart within her heart his fiance’, Ashley Banks; mothers of his older children, Yolanda Richardson and Shaquita Turner.

Tione was predeceased by his father, Ricky Taitano and older brother, Lowone Harris; grandmother, Sarah Harris Caldwell; grandfather, Jessie Harris; aunts, Lucille and Dianne Harris and uncle, Michael Harris.

He leaves to cherish two maternal uncles, David and Columbus Harris; two maternal aunts, Betty Harris Randolph and Irene Harris; paternal aunt, Shelia Taitano and uncle, Percy Taitano; great aunt, Maxine C. Goodman and a HUGE loving extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins that are truly heartbroken.

“Friends form the cradle to the grave” Ricky Johnson, Miracle Davenport, Milton James, Kelly Bishop, Travis McKenzie and Dario “DeBo” Jones, his lifelong friends are experiencing the void of losing “a brother.”

Tione was born November 24, 1979 in Norfolk, VA ~ Park Place area. He attended Norfolk Public Schools and was within months of completing the HVAC program at Fortis College. He held several jobs and was a dependable, generous and loving Father.

His love and compassion were always evident, especially while taking care of his mother, Elaine during her illness. Tione was Always available and by his mother’s side during each test, surgery and doctor visits. Mom Elaine could Always depend on her youngest son to keep his promise to be right by her side.

Tione “Da Don” was considered an “OG” of Park Place. He was a compassionate person children and friends could come to and knew he would listen and “look out” for them. Last but not least, Tione’s charisma and smile reached far too many to name and but his legend will definitely live on for many years to come through his family, friends and his Park Place family.
