I will look to the hills from whence cometh my help, my help, cometh from the Lord Psalms 121:1
June 4, 1998, James and Monique were blessed with a beautiful little girl. They named her Tiara Da’shae. She was a true blessing to her family. She was educated in the Norfolk Public School System. She attended Granby Elementary School. She was active in fine arts during school. She participated in chorus starting at Blair Middle and continuing to sing in high school where she was a graduate of Maury High School, Class of 2016. Tiara attended Tidewater Community College where she will be receive her Associate Degree of Arts in December 2022.
She was born a member of Brotherly Love Church of God in Christ where she was very active in the youth department of her church. She was a member of the Children’s Choir and Praise Dance Team. She also served in the Norfolk District as well as represented her district in her Jurisdiction, Virginia 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ a Praise Dancer. She grew to share her passion with other young dancers as a teacher and coach.
Tiara was a quiet storm. A mover and shaker in her own right. Her million dollar smile was contagious and her beauty inside and out would light any room. Through her rearing and deep love for God Tiara rededicated her life to God at the end of September of this year. Staying true to herself and God, we witnessed a true angel among us. She will forever be our Tee-Tee.
Tiara is predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Carolyn Ridley. She is survived by her parents Mrs. Monique (Willie) Parson Branch and Mr. James (Denisha) Parson, her older sister Tatyana Parson and future brother in law, Khristopher DeCastro and her younger sister, Heaven Parson. Her only nephew Zayn Karter Decastro. Her maternal grandfather Mr. Michael Ridley and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Lupina Canon. Her aunts, Talisa (Terrell) Hughes, Kendra Ridley and Tonya Parson. Her uncles, Donald (Tanisha) Copeland, Reginald Copeland and Michael (Tiesha) Ridley. Her God-Mother, Annette Spivey along with women who covered her in prayer Claudia Romero and Linda Tynes. Her best friend Shauna Wright, along with a host of cousins, family and friends.
