Thomasine Whitaker, peacefully slipped into eternal rest in the early morning hours on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 with is niece, shinelle Whitaker holdin his hand.
Thomasine Whitaker, known as “Gator” or “Chief”, was born to the late Mary Whitaker-Chandler and Lonnie Whitaker, Sr. on February 18, 1957. Thomasine attended Maury High School where he was active in sports playing both Football and on the Wresting team. After high school, Thomasine served in the United States Army and eventually found his calling as a Cement Finisher, learning from the best, his step-father, Aaron.
Thomasine was the light of every party; making us all laugh until we cried with his endless jokes and dancing ability (the stomp). Thomasine Whitaker was predeceased by his loving step-father, Aarpm and leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Tikela White; a son, Ryan White; six sisters, Vera Bellamy (Cleveland), Diane Whitaker, Patricia Bronson (Willie Sr.), Lyvonne Whitaker, Shelilia Whitaker and Tracy Hamilton (Theodore); one brother, Lonnie Whitaker, Jr.; four grandchildren, Quayshean, Destiny, Keon and Koby and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
