Praise the Lord all the way from San Diego, CA. My Godmother was truly an anointed woman of God. Overseer McClendon lived the life she preached, which was pure Holiness! I will keep her family and church family is in my prayers.

My wife and I extend our deepest condolences to the family and church family. We will certainly miss Overseer, and cherish the moments she gave to both of us. I personally will miss and cherish the many songs she sang and played on the organ, that were soul stirring. We are grateful for the gift she was to us, and honor her as a mighty servant of God, a matriarch of faith, a ferverent prayer warrior, one who lived as an example and preached Holiness with love and grace.

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
“Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day,” Acts 26:22a KJV
This was one of Pastor McClendon’s favorite passages before she ministered the Word of God to us. I was blessed in my early walk in Christ by her presence; a beautiful example of how a Holy woman is to live. I will always remember her kind words to me. To her natural family and the Bethel Apostolic Church family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
