Theron L. Hammond, 38 of Norfolk, Virginia transitioned  from this life on May 27, 2021.

He was born on June 23, 1982 in Norfolk, VA. To Arlene Hammond (Brown) and   James Cooper. He was raised in a loving home by David Brown.

“Burt” as known by most received his education at Booker T. Washington High School. Growing up you wouldn’t see him without holding his pillow and sucking his thumb. He loved to play pool, swim and joke. He also loved driving fast cars need for speed. He had a special bond with his sister Sadie Brown (our mother’s dog) as he called her “RAT”. He was the life of the party always had a Heineken or Hennessey in his hands. In his mind he was the best dancer doing his same two step. All who knew him knew he was a protector and very passionate about his family and friends.

His favorite saying “ WE ALL WE GOT”

Theron was predeceased by his maternal grandmother LaGretta M. Hammond.

He is survived by is mother Arlene Brown (David). Two sons, Zaquise Snowden and Katron Griffin; four daughters, Jada Brown, Destiny Hammond, Kah’Naijah Wilson and Demi Green. Five sisters; Letrese Hammond Walker (Charles), Danicia Brown ( Ariel), Chakina  Burke ( Anthony), Nicole Parker, Angel White. Two brothers; Johnathan Hammond (Lateele), Cyntenious Morris. Great Aunt; Faye Godfrey ( Robert),  two uncles, Manuel Hammond (Loleta), Michael Hammond (Yolanda)

A special bestfriend since the sandbox Andrew Babb, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

I was always there for you and you was always there for me. I’m going to miss you. Tuesday I was looking for you to call me then I had to think about my best friend is gone tears start rolling down my face. RIP ❤️ Burt You will be truly missed.

    It’s been many years since I last saw Burt, but I still remember his smile and the Love he had for his family. Trese, my thoughts, prayers and Love are with you and your family. I remember how close yall were. I pray that God will provide strength, peace and comfort to get you all through the difficult days, weeks, months and years ahead ❤

    I never though i would be typing this I really don’t know where to start . Just want to say I enjoyed the time that I got to kick it with you .. You were always funny loved to joke and no matter how mean I was you always made it your business to reach out just to say I’m just checking on you to see how you doing .
