   My dearest Tameka,
   You were the very essence of what every young woman should be. When I began my career 35 years ago, you had my back. You graded papers, encouraged me, and helped me create things for my bulletin boards. Then, you disappeared. I never knew what happened with you, but I often thought of you and prayed for you and your family. You left us too soon, but I will never forget your excellence and integrity. Rest in Heaven, my beautiful friend. You are sorely missed.

   I can’t bring myself to believe that you are gone and I won’t hear you say ” I love you mommy and I don’t give a Damn”. You couldn’t be more my daughter as if I had birthed you myself. I will miss you beyond words. Sleep tight babygirl 😘😘🥰😍😍

   Tameka was such a bright, gentle, beautiful spirit. I have fond memories of her as a child being so caring. She holds a special place in my heart. As you lay her to rest, my heart and spirit are with you.
