Stephone White

Our beloved Stephone White entered into God’s Heavenly home on January 20, 2021, while sleeping at home.
He was born on May 26, 1963 to Barbara Jean White.  Stephone graduated with his certificate of completion from Norfolk Public School.
Stephone gave his life to the Lord at a young age and joined Good News COGIC under the Pastorate of Pastor Frank Caffee, Sr. He served the Lord with gladness. Over the years, he served as an Usher and he attended Sunday School. He was the first one to get in the prayer line. At Good News he was called their Sergeant of Arms. They could count on Stephone informing everyone to “STAND” to be dismissed after Sunday service and after the Pastor would say Amen, Stephone would say “AAAAAAAAmen” and the service ended.
Stephone loved his family and those that helped him through life. A special thank you  to Just People and the Circle of Life staff.
Stephone was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean White; grandmother, Viola White; his aunt/mother, Vernedia Arrington.
Stephone leaves to cherish his memory: Angela (Gregory) Allmond, Anthony (Shuvonda) White, Omar White, Viniece White, Chastini White, Tonna White, Shakira White, Anthony White, Jr., Andrew White, Divine Bailey, August White, Dorian Bailey, Jaylin Rauh, Amari Jarvis; very special uncle, Johnny White; special cousin/sister, Koren “Annette” Rogers; special friend, Early Phillip; and a host of other relatives and friends.

    Our condolences to Angela and the entire White Family, in the loss of Stephone! He will always be remembered and in our hearts. Angela, thank YOU for caring for your brother and being so very diligent with him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!     Stephone “Steph” we miss you already. We were all ready to see your smile back at day support and are distraught you are not with us anymore. Your bashful laugh and the confirmation you gave when it was something you liked “yes maam” will never be forgotten. We love you and will miss you tremendously.
