Stephen R. Gunter, the loving son of Acey Gunter and Gladys Gunter was born on July 5, 1957 in Norfolk, Virginia. Steve graduated from Lake Taylor High School in 1975 and served in the U.S. Army. He was a lover of classic soul music, a jokester and the life of the party, as many would say. His life transitioned on Friday September 23, 2022. His memories are left to be cherished by his daughter Stephanie O. Ferebee, son Stephen K. Ferebee, brother Reginald B Gunter (Sharon), sisters Sheila R. Gunter and Karen L. Cook (Larry) gifted family Mrs. Joann Wallace, Tyrone Ferebee, Xavier Ferebee, two grandchildren, Jauan Ferebee, Onteya Ferebee, many amazing nieces, nephews, family and friends. The ladder moments of Steve’s journey were championed in closeness with nephew Darryl Woodard. Stephen Gunter is preceded in death by his parents Acey and Gladys Gunter and his brother Ronald L. Gunter.
