Our hearts are saddened by the loss of our beloved brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Stephen devoted his time to serving the Lord and God’s people. He loved his family.
Stephen Perry was born on March 17, 1954, in Norfolk, VA, to the late Thelma Perry and Ernest. Stephen is affectionately known by family and friends as “Steve.” Steve entered enteral rest on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Norfolk, VA.
Steve accepted Christ and was a long-time member of The Living Faith Church. Steve became ill and his physical health hindered him from being able to attend church, but through it all, the Lord kept him.
Steve attended Norfolk Public Schools and graduated with honors from Norview High School. He then attended Norfolk State College, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Magna cum laude) and a Master’s degree in Special Education. He began his career as an accountant at the Pentagon before joining the United States Army, where he received various awards and certificates.
