Stanley Patterson

On June 18, 2022 our beloved Stanley Patterson departed this Earth at the age of 62. He was born July 3, 1959 to Jesse and Rosa Patterson in Norfolk, Virginia. Stanley attended Indian River High School and the United States JobCorp. He grew up in church under the leadership of Pastor Ethel Ross and later Overseer Pastor Rosa Patterson. He loved listening to gospel music, especially Quartet music. He sometimes sung with the church choir and the Gospel Chandeliers. Stanley was a kind person with a gentle soul. His “bark was always louder than his bite.” Stanley is predeceased in death by his father Jesse Patterson. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Overseer Pastor Rosa Patterson, one son-Jeremy Lamb, three sisters; Wanda Bonner, Barbara Patterson and Rosa Parker (Timothy), three nephews, Three nephews: Bryant Patterson, Donnell & Shaunell Lattimore, one niece: Nicole Lattimore (Wilson), Four great nephews: Karlos, Bryce, Michael, & Shaun , Five great niece: Wynter, Autumn, Elysa, Netayla & Samaya, and a host of relatives and friends.

    Sorry for your loss of your love one…Mr. Stanley may have been a porch visitor to us; but a very funny and a great person to talk too. I made sure he was always feed and always had nice cold drink. Mr. Stanley-you will be surely missed. Yours neighbors.
