I first met Shmyrah when she was a 4th grader at Douglass Park. As a teacher who worked with her, I was saddened to hear of this unfortunate news. I will always remember Shmyrah’s beautiful smile and her sweet and loving personality. My prayers and sincere condolences go out to her family and those who loved her most.
