Shelia Linette Walker-Carr

Sunrise: March 27, 1956

Sunset: July 25, 2019

Shelia “Lady in Red” Walker-Carr was the best Mom, Sister, Daughter, Aunt and Beautiful Woman inside and out. She leaves behind two gorgeous daughters, Atisha Davis and Lateeka Walker; five grandchildren, Max Spruill, Jr., Ceiara Spruill, Keyamiah Walker,
Kristina and Emmanuel Davis; a beautiful sister, Felicia Moore and her best friend in the whole world, Diana Burton (Herd).

This beautiful life we celebrate today, Shelia worked for Sentara Norfolk General for almost 17 years, everyone loved her that she encountered. She was a very hard-working dedicated woman who loved her family. She was the reason I’m as strong as I am today.
I can’t wait to continue teaching what she taught all of us. How to love, how to be strong, how to be a great daughter. We will Miss You!

Sweet Shelia. Lady In Red. My heart is sadden with the news of your passing. I know now that Another Angel Has Her Wings. You were one of the sweetest persons I knew, so very nice, kind and good hearted. Your laugh was so very infectious and one of a kind. I truly enjoyed our little chats we had in the lobby while you were waiting for your ride in the afternoon. Rest In Heaven. You will truly be missed….
