Shelby Renette “Nett” Pinkney, 58, of Norfolk, Virginia was peacefully called home on July 15, 2019. Shelby was known and loved for her kind and generous heart. Shelby was born August 18, 1960 to the late Robert and Queenie Pinkney. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Daisy M. Pinkney, aunt, Thelma Robinson and sisters, Chandra Pinkney and Desiree Jernigan.
Left to cherish Shelby’s precious memories are her daughters, LaKeisha and LaTasha Pinkney; son, Dominique Pinkney; grandson, Keshon Pinkney; grand-pup, Lex Pinkney; aunt, Louisa Patterson; sisters, Beverly Pinkney, Drena Robinson and Tyra Pinkney; brothers, Anthony and Shawn Pinkney, and a host of nieces and great nieces, including Dezada and De’Zaria “Tigger” Jernigan, nephews, great nephews, cousins and loving friends.
“Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” ~Psalm 23:4.
