Shelia V. Britton-Austin, 66, of Norfolk, VA widely known as Shelia B. departed this life Sunday, September 6, 2020. She was born to the late Olivia Naomi Britton and Edward Lee Cuffee. Shelia was married to the love of her life, Clarence Eugene Austin, for over 10 years until his untimely passing in 2007.
She is preceded in death by her only daughter, Toshina Britton and granddaughter, Marajah Jonax. Shelia attended Chesapeake Public Schools as a child and was a member of Mount Zion Church Berkley. She will always be remembered as the life of the party and the person who would always be there to give you a listening ear when needed. Shelia was kind and loving but didn’t play any games. She was a 49er’s fan for life. After her retirement, she loved to get some “gas off of her chest” by taking daily rides and shopping. Shelia loved to dress fashionable and keep her signature short silver hair cut just right. She loved and enjoyed her life until her last day. She will be GREATLY MISSED.
