Sharon Rena Sanders

Our Beloved Mother, Sister, ”Nana,” niece, and cousin went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 5th, 2025. Sharon R. Sanders was born on December 9, 1966, to the late Harvey J. Sanders, Jr. and Mae F. Sanders in Norfolk, VA. She worked as a Customer Service Representative at various companies for 25 years. Sharon was a member at St. John A.M.E. Church and served as an Usher, Youth Choir Member, and taught Bible School. Sharon’s spirit and presence were always felt as soon as you met and left with such a loving light, which reflected in a smile or laugh. Sharon enjoyed shopping, dining out, going to the movies, and spending time with her “Moe Narley.

Sharon is predeceased by her parents, Harvey J. Sanders, Jr. and Mae F. Sanders. Sharon leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Tanisha Drake and Tiara Sanders, and her granddaughter, Narley Artis, her sister, Lisa Sanders, and a host of aunts, cousins, and friends.

She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her, and we were blessed to have her in our lives.

      I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom. I remembered when I first met you all back in 1999 when I use to go to my gma house every weekend and summer. Coming to knock on y’all door to see if y’all was coming out to play your mom would be Nisha “Shante at the door”. And I remember one of you all birthday I rode with y’all to the Bowling Alley 99 or 2000! Sharon was amazing and beautiful I will miss her. She was so cool and down to earth! GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND YOUR FAMILY. SLEEP IN PERFECT PEACE MS. SHARON ❤️
